the new year is a time for eating.
here are my thoughts, in “rhyme,” about that:
i’ve had a lot of potatoes
enough for the whole year.
oh these potatoes,
and fall is nowhere near.
yes, i do eat a lot of things,
over the course of a year.
and i eat a lot of courses.
over the course of every meal.
give me your meat,
your tallow, and more
and i will eat,
and swallow it, for sure.
fill my grave with giblets,
and my brain with cheese.
i’ll be aged sweet as bourbon,
still, i have the munchies.
